Cowbyre is the place to buy genuinely great art and gifts from independent Yorkshire artists and crafts people.

Formed in 2008 by Andrew & Angela Kay, the concept of Cowbyre is to represent genuinely great self taught artists throughout the Yorkshire region, giving them a reliable platform to sell their work direct to lovers of great art worldwide.

The emphasis on our membership is self taught artists - we believe this is an undervalued section of the art market which is often stifled by outmoded attitudes in favour of professional art tutilage.

At Cowbyre we believe naturally great art comes from within...this can be refined, but not taught.

As well as our online gallery and store we also participate in exhibitions and public events throughout Yorkshire, bringing a selection of our artists' work to a wider audience.
