Ade Brownlow
Updated 07 August 2009
Location North Yorkshire
Medium Acrylic
Ade is a self taught painter working in acrylics on canvas. Working from his own photographs he paints the things he likes - landscapes and animals – usually in bright colours. Ades brushwork emulates a gorilla let loose with a big set of felt tip markers. This approach suits his Shrek-like stature and maniacal temperament.
Ade’s current day job is teaching Business, Finance and Economics which he loves but he used to do big important jobs in the IT and Internet sectors down south. Ade is Yorkshire born and bred but his early career meant he was exiled from the motherland to Oxford for around 15 years
